Nathanael Lyon joined the CGS team in 2026 after getting to experience the campaign process as a local pastor. He grew up as a pastor’s kid, who became a pastor which has led him to a deep love for the Local Church, and for Pastors. Nathanael loves working with Church Leadership Teams to help them communicate God’s unique calling and vision to their congregation.

Nathanael is an ordained pastor with the Church of God (Anderson, IN). He serves as the Lead Pastor at Hope Community Church in Niles, MI as well as on numerous regional and national leadership teams within the broader Church of God. Nathanael has been married to his wife, Kimberly, since 2013 and they are raising three sons. He loves Seattle Sports, vinyl records, and a good cup of coffee.
