Emphasizing the critical role of the general fund in supporting a church's ministry, staff, and facilities. Despite its importance, many church leaders view budgeting as a necessary burden rather than a ministry tool. To address financial challenges, we recommend strategies such as zero-based budgeting, fostering a culture of generosity, exploring alternative funding sources, and reducing expenses.
